Marketplaces
Channels are now called Marketplaces.
While the name has changed, all existing functionality, integrations, and workflows remain the same. Likewise, Channel Accounts are now known as Marketplace Accounts.
This update introduces a clearer structure and lays the foundation for future marketplace enhancements.
The Unallocated Shipments page has been renamed Saved Shipments.
In future releases, this page will contain only shipments that have been manually saved within SmartConsign.
Orders imported from connected marketplaces will now appear on the Orders page as unallocated until they have been processed. This provides greater visibility into imported orders and makes it easier to identify which orders still require action.
The Fetch Orders feature allows you to manually retrieve orders from your connected marketplace accounts and import them directly into SmartConsign.
By entering an order number, you can import a specific order immediately rather than waiting for the next automated synchronisation cycle.
This is particularly useful for:
- Re-importing orders.
- Importing recently created orders.
- Retrieving orders that may not have been imported automatically.
The Bulk Processing feature enables you to select and process multiple orders simultaneously.
This helps streamline high-volume shipping operations, reduces manual effort, and improves processing efficiency.
